Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Ashworth Car Detailing. By booking a service, the customer agrees to the terms listed below.

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Ashworth Car Detailing.
  • Customers must provide accurate vehicle details, contact information and service requirements before work begins.
  • Prices shown on this website are starting prices only. Final prices may vary depending on vehicle size, condition, location, contamination, pet hair, stains, paint condition and the level of work required.
  • A deposit may be required to secure a booking. Bookings are not confirmed until any required deposit has been paid.
  • The customer must remove personal belongings, valuables, child seats and loose items from the vehicle before the appointment.
  • Ashworth Car Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the vehicle.
  • Customers must disclose any existing damage, faulty parts, resprayed panels, loose trim, electrical faults, water leaks or previous repair work before the service begins.
  • Ashworth Car Detailing will take care when working on all vehicles, but cannot be held responsible for pre-existing damage, weak paint, failing lacquer, poor repairs, loose trims, worn interiors or hidden defects.
  • For wrap services, the vehicle must be clean, roadworthy and suitable for wrapping. Poor paintwork, rust, dents, stone chips, lacquer peel and previous repairs may affect the final finish.
  • Estimated completion times are given as guidance only. Some jobs may take longer due to vehicle condition, weather, supplier delays, wrap complexity or additional work required.
  • Payment must be made in full on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Ashworth Car Detailing reserves the right to refuse or stop work if the vehicle is unsafe, unsuitable, excessively contaminated, or if the customer behaves in an abusive or unreasonable manner.
Important: Wrap services, custom designs and ordered materials may require a non-refundable deposit once materials, design work or preparation have started.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Ashworth Car Detailing aims to be fair and transparent with all customers. However, cancellations, missed appointments and changes of mind can cause loss of time, booked labour, ordered materials and lost business.

  • General detailing bookings may be cancelled or rearranged with at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • If a customer cancels with less than 48 hours’ notice, any deposit paid may be retained to cover lost time, admin and booking space.
  • If a customer fails to attend, is unavailable, or the vehicle is not accessible at the agreed time, the booking may be treated as cancelled and any deposit may be retained.
  • Refunds are not offered where the service has been completed and the customer has accepted the work, unless there is a proven fault caused directly by Ashworth Car Detailing.
  • Customers must raise any concerns before leaving or within 24 hours of completion. Ashworth Car Detailing must be given the opportunity to inspect and correct any reasonable issue before any refund is considered.
  • Refunds will not be given for issues caused by weather, poor maintenance, pre-existing damage, customer misuse, third-party work, incorrect aftercare or failure to follow aftercare advice.
  • Car wrap deposits are strict. Once wrap materials, vinyl, design work, print work, specialist parts or preparation work have been ordered or started, the deposit becomes non-refundable.
  • For car wraps, colour changes, custom graphics and personalised work, cancellations after materials have been ordered may result in the customer being charged for materials, design time, labour already completed and any loss suffered by the business.
  • If a customer changes their mind after approving a wrap colour, design, layout or quote, any extra changes may be charged separately.
  • Once a wrap installation has started, cancellation is not normally possible. The customer may still be liable for the full or remaining balance because the business will have committed labour, time and materials to the job.
  • Completed wrap work is non-refundable due to change of mind, colour preference, design preference after approval, or because the customer no longer wants the wrap.
  • If a genuine fault is found with workmanship, Ashworth Car Detailing will be given the first opportunity to inspect, repair or correct the issue where reasonable.
Strict Wrap Policy: Car wraps are custom work. Once the customer has approved the job and materials are ordered or work has started, cancellations and refunds are heavily restricted because the business may lose money on vinyl, design time, labour, workshop time and preparation.
